I booked the room for one night and it was so nasty I ended up sleeping in my car. Absolutely atrocious rooms that are not cleaned at all. There was still 5 guys trash left over from the last guests since the room was not cleaned. The room was covered in bugs and also had plenty running around on the bed. Even the bed sheets had stains on them. Went to front office to complain but all ur met with is a ring camera and a lady that is no help at all.
I was very disappointed in this place, even with it being an inexpensive motel. Check-in was weird, but fine. No one was on site so everything was done remotely. The room itself had problems. The AC did not work. I even contacted number provides about it and while it worked for roughly 10 minutes after I did all the troubleshooting, it fully stopped working. I also was provided a towel that still had some crusty orange stuff on it, as pictured. Revolting. There are few outlets available for charging items. There was also a switch on one side of the room that turned on the outlet power on the other side and it buzzed. The water smelled like sulfur. Additionally, we found a sticky trap under the bed which is appalling. I know not everyone cares, but those traps are unfathomably cruel, leaving the creatures who get stuck on them to die slow and horrible deaths. The bed was okay enough and the water got and stayed hot, so that's why we have a two star.
This Motel is a bit on the odd side, with both pros and cons in my experience. On the upside, the room was clean, and the TV was huge, with Roku setup. The secluded-ish location was also pretty nice. On the negative side, the contactless check-in process felt more than a little sketchy, the keypad door locks worked intermittently, the door lacked a deadbolt, and sound from other rooms carried remarkably well compared to other places I've stayed The mattress was also uncomfortable and unusually low for a hotel/motel. Most frustrating was the HVAC setup, as it was a hot day, and the AC wouldn't come on for more than a few seconds at a time every half hour or so, and there was no airflow, so opening the windows didn't help much. All in all, it isn't a bad place; it's inexpensive, it's clean, and there are some nice elements, but there was an eerie feel about the whole thing that was hard to shake
⭐️ Misleading, unsafe, and not as advertised I don’t typically stay in motels, but I booked this property to save money, as nearby hotels were either similarly priced or more than double the cost. I understood this was a budget, remotely operated motel and adjusted my expectations accordingly. The room had not been thoroughly cleaned behind furniture, and the bathroom window had no lock at all. Even more concerning, the front door did not feel secure and appeared as though it may have been kicked in or damaged at some point, which immediately raised safety concerns. The deciding factor was discovering a sticky bug trap behind a dresser containing a dead German cockroach. Regardless of whether this was from a past issue or an active infestation, visible pest control traps left in a guest room are unacceptable and indicate prior problems and poor oversight. I contacted management immediately and provided a photo. I was told that a full refund would be issued if we vacated promptly, which we did in good faith. However, when I followed up through Expedia, the property refused to authorize the refund they promised. Expedia confirmed they made multiple attempts to contact the property and were unable to obtain approval, leaving me responsible under the original cancellation policy. This experience was not just about cleanliness, but about misleading assurances, safety issues, and lack of accountability. If honesty, security, and peace of mind matter to you, don’t stay here.
